Information Integrity and Assessment Lab

The Information Integrity and Assessment Lab (IIAL) advances research on information integrity in an AI-driven society. Operating at the intersection of library and information science, data science, and artificial intelligence, IIAL develops rigorous methods for assessing the quality, credibility, and integrity of data and information. These methods support efforts to combat misinformation, strengthen information ecosystems, and promote equitable access to high-quality information. IIAL also designs and evaluates services and literacy programs that empower people—particularly older adults—to navigate today's complex information environment with confidence.
